They aren't the base cards or parallels.

They aren't the pre packaged team sets even though they share the same pic and card numbers.

And I haven't been able to find any other cards with that Shea symbol.20201126_163403.jpeg20201126_163447.jpeg20201126_163511.jpeg

I stumbled across a Dodger specific set from 1996 that I had not heard of before. There is a single seller of them on ebay and have found no others. Weird stuff like that seems to pop up now and again.

This is for 36 seasons at Dodger Stadium. Why 36? seems like an odd tribute number. The cards look legit though???

EDIT: Maybe that is 35 and the ebay seller just didn't look close enough? I did not fact check and didn't look at the couple I bought from him close enough either. 35 years seems more likely.

No help on your Mets set, but COMC has a couple of the Dodgers and have identified them as a Walmart offering. It makes sense, as there were a few special retail team sets being put out around that time and I think it has continued on and off since.

Amazon has a bunch of sealed sets of both. Look for " Yankees 2008 Commemorative Team Set" or "Mets 2008 Commemorative Team Set"- you'll see the packaging. I don't see either team checklist in Beckett or some other places
Not unusual with a couple million cards produced every year.

Looks like a Topps team set with the Shea Stadium foil stamping added. The card numbers match up to the checklist listed on the eBay listing.

Heres the Yanks set when I get time will link the Mets. Limited to 18,000 sets produced for each stadium.
And yes they are pre-packaged TEAM sets specifically created for the teams involved by Topps
