Why is it that so many are hitting now? Was a special being run recently? (I hardly ever grade so out of the loop on that stuff)

if you search ebay, just bgs and psa cards being auctioned, it's roughly 30,000 at any given time. How many more cards will be added? 1000 cards at most? thats a 3% increase, I don't see that affecting the prices much.

I think you may get a lot of BIN's on those cards.

I'd imagine a lot of people will have the same mindset as someone who invested in a card at $240 and it's now worth significantly less. From what I've seen - in those type of instances cards usually get thrown up with BIN's (not saying all ridiculous Bin's, but at least skewing to the high's they'd sell at), as you kind of refuse to believe what it's actually worth.....you get a $30-50 card out of a $240 pack - you're probably throwing it up with a $50 BIN.
Not to mention their all nice cards, and potentially worth holding on to, so I can definitely see people over-valuing them based on investment.

same, but the problem w/auctions (unless it's a mega hot guy like stras) is slabs are bringing lower + lower (in general), so BIN/BO is becoming more common

i totally agree with you. That being said, the sellers that are listing BIN/BO are not realistic in what they are expecting cash wise when they receive best offers.

i totally agree with you. That being said, the sellers that are listing BIN/BO are not realistic in what they are expecting cash wise when they receive best offers.

it seems odd, but i find that when i list a slab @ BIN/BO w/a price comparable to ended slabs, i get WAY low offers (like $5 for a freddie blue bgs 9.5 lol)..but when i RAISE the price, i get better offers. go figure.

I see sellers like that on/off ebay. Some guys will never budge. I don’t mind taking a decent offer, but some offers are so ridiculous (like on my Freddie stuff- or $20 for a moose 07 bcdp gold ref 9.5lol), that it’s like ‘seriously? Why bother?’. I list slabs I ‘just want to get rid of’ @ auction, but nowadays, most slabs I list are BIN/BO…or w/a starting bid comparable to a recently ended item.
