Anyone opening 2009 Upper Deck Ballpark Collection?

Looks like a fun break.

How do you think the piece of history cards will be received? It looks like they are going overkill, and it'll kind ruin the perfection they've had with the set up to now.

I really hope they don't use sticker autos for everything, as they've done in the past- especially for their spokespersons duals.

How tough have the tag/button cards been to pull in last year's produt? One per case? or more frequent?

I'm wondering if prices will drop for the boxes like last year's - anyone buying any?

Vizquel isn't in much these days, but it looks like he's included on 3 memorabilia cards- a dual, quad, and six memorabilia with some big names. So I'll be watching closely to pick them up if possible. I'm not excited all at to see what prices will look like on those singles, however. I'm assuming not real reasonable.

Does anyone have a breakdown of what they're numbered out of?

The prices may wind up being more reasonable than you expect. I've been able to pick up a few of the Pettittes from COMC for decent prices. It may just require a little patience.

Either way, it's a convenient way for Upper Deck to take a huge jersey dump.

I'd imagine that singles are going to go for much cheaper than you think.

The 2008's really don't sell for very well, sometimes $1.99 for quad jerseys that include Pujols or Griffey or Jeter.

Holy moley, I hope you're right. I was thinking I'd see $50+ cards. Keeping my fingers crossed...
