Anyone still prospecting Nick Markakis?

Just exactly when does a player transition over from prospectors to collectors?

If he has a huge year, his cards could still skyrocket in price- anyone holding on to hope that this may happen?

He already has a decent collector following- did anyone first start to prospect him, then decide to collect him?

Or is there any difference between the two (prospecting versus collecting)?

I picked up 5 RC Auto's this offseason for $38, and I think they are a great option. I know I am in the minority when it comes to investments and "prospecting" but I think that he's way safer than most prospects (especially since the economy is questionable, and the entire market could take another hit) and offers major potential. If I had funds I'd love to pick up a few more if I could get them for under $40.

edit: I do believe most prospectors have moved on, which is often around the time I get in. :)

I still have some hope that we will see a big increase in prices. Paid about $200 for the lot (4 9's and a raw):
