If any of you check the vintage boards, you'd know that I was very unhappy with the popped grades I recieved on this submission. Got the cards in today, and unfortunetly there was no mistake in the popped grades.
I don't know what the problem was, but most of these grades are very questionable IMO. This has somewhat shattered my confidence in PSA. I just renewed my membership, and these were on free vouchers which coeincidently always turn up less than par grades for me.
Anyways you be the judge, and see the horrible grading on this submission. The Rose & B.Williams for example were chosen specifically for their grade. I guess I was wrong. I'll list fronts and backs.
My scanner tends to make corners look like they're bending. The Billy Williams for exapmle has 2 sharp corners & 2 slightly dinged corners.
1964 Topps Billy Williams, I have PSA 8's that look as good or worse than this. The scratch lines are on the case not the card
1955 Topps Jackie Robinson, Possibly the best PSA 3 ever
1969 Topps Pete Rose, They damaged the corners during grading. I took scans before packing them out. Still the best 5 I've ever seen
1958 Topps Hank Aaron, Again was expecting a 5 making this the least disappointing card.
1957 Topps Mickey Mantle, there are a few creases, expected a 2 with e very slighht chance of a 3.
1957 Topps Willie Mays, I had a hunch it was trimmed, now I know. It looked wierd to me, vintage collectors will know what I mean. Like the card was off-center but not :? O well
Comments welcome & encouraged.
