2022 Topps Heritage Real One Autographs Orlando Cepeda. This is his first certified A's autograph so I had to get it. He played an entire THREE GAMES for the 1972 A's.


They're calling this one the "White Sparkle" version but it's not listed by Beckett so I'm not sure if that's the official name. Adding this there are 36 versions to track down now, and I have 24 of them. I have one more incoming and have not seen any of the other 8 non-1/1 versions I'm missing pop up for sale anywhere yet.

Nice little lot of 90s insert set fills and a couple off the needs list for the 1997 Pinnacle Certified/Totally Certified sets:





I doubt I build out the Mirror Red and Mirror Blue sets but for less $3 I won't pass them up either.

2019 Topps Diamond Icons Patch/Auto Khris Davis 03/25...not a set I usually go for but I thought it looked cool and the price was right. 2010 Allen and Ginter Mini Black SP Daric Barton...one left to complete that team set now.

Got a trade in the mail today from another Cardinals fan.

2004 Bowman SGC 10 Yadier Molina RC (Pop 2 in an SGC10, Pop 8 in PSA 10, 0 BGS 10s) - This is a tough, tough card to Gem and I'm glad to have it.


2012 Topps Skip Schumaker Rally Squirrel SP - This is another tough one. It isn't really super rare but tons of Cards fans want them so they don't go cheap.

First is the "Reactive Yellow" Dilfer from 2021 Mosaic...like several of the variations none of these showed up for weeks and weeks, then all of a sudden several copies showed up at once. And there's 2002 and 2003 Donruss Classics Timeless Treasures/100 of Dennis Eckersley. The 2002 is 043/100, his uniform number. Gets me down to 1 left for the 2002 team set and 2 more for 2003.

1998 Bowman's Best Atomic Refractor Ben Grieve 077/100. One of the coolest looking sets of all time, I'm 1 short of the team set now. The McGwire is out of 1997 Donruss Limited; Tony Clark is on the front. Took me years to find for some reason. There's another even tougher McGwire in the set which is now the last A's "base card" I need from the '90s.


Here's the "Reactive Blue" version, which puts me at 26 different with one more incoming at the moment. My original goal was to get 25 by the end of year, I guess my "stretch goal" is now 30 of the 33 non-1/1 cards by the end of the year.

Fist is the 2021 Mosaic "orange fluorescent" Dilfer 15/25, getting me to 27 different for the set. For the first time since release I have none incoming and none I need on eBay. 1997 Elite Gold Stars McGwire completes the 3-card team set, ha. And a 2017 Topps Chrome Gold Refractor Jharel Cotton 01/50.


1998 Donruss Rated Rookies Medalists Miguel Tejada. Crappy grade but I'm fine with it, it has a bit of a corner ding. These have a print run of 250 and can be tough to track down, I still need the Ben Grieve.

Trying to get all of the 2004 Sweet Sot Sweet Threads multi-player cards, I think I just need a couple more after snagging these two. On pretty much all of the cards from these sets the A's are playing second fiddle to better/more popular players.


1999 Pacific Prism Holographic Mirror Jason Giambi 136/160...still need a couple from that set including Rickey. Barreto is another one chipping away at my 2017 Topps Black needs, I'm down to 10 left but that includes Matt Olson and Matt Chapman RCs. I also got a pile of cheaper cards to catch up on some low-end 2021 and 2022 needs, the 2022 Rickey '87 Silver Pack Chrome and 2021 A&G Chrome Mini Vida Blue are my favorites. The Ginter Chrome set is sharp, I think I need to concentrate more on completing the Refractor and Mini team sets, I barely have any.

1997 Studio Master Strokes McGwire 0661/2000, another one of the '90s McGwire inserts I was trying to knock off my list this year. 2006 Bowman Chrome Gold Refractor Tim Hudson 18/50 completes his Bowman Chrome Gold Refractor run except for the 1999 RC. 2008 Topps Update Black Dallas Braden 27/57 inches me closer to completing 2008 Topps Black, still need 4 of them. 2006 Turkey Red Black Frank Thomas completes the team set! The 2006 Blacks seem a little easier than the 2005's, I still need eight of those. And finally 2003 Topps box bottom cards of Tim Hudson and Eric Chavez that I've been hunting forever.

I got a shipment from COMC on the same day I got a couple of other sizable shipments...no time to scan them all today so I'll just start off with all of the team set completers:


2000 SP Top Prospects Premium Edition/175...I think I got all the A's minor leaguers in this but it's possible one has slipped by and I'll discover it years later. 2002 Donruss Classics Timeless Tributes/100. 2002 Topps Gold Label Class 2 Platinum/250...also have the Gold/500 complete but still need some of the Titanium/100 cards. 2003 Diamond Kings Gold/100. 2003 Upper Deck MVP Gold/125. 2004 Elite Extra Edition Aspirations...serial numbered anywhere from /25 to /97, a 13-card team set so not too shabby.


2005 Fleer Authentix General Admission/100. 2005 Leaf Century Collection Postmarks Silver/100. 2005 Leather and Lumber Silver/100. 2003 Leaf Limited Spotlight Gold/50...also have the Silver/100 set so I'm finished with the Spotlights for that year, they didn't so a Bronze set in 2003. 2002 Donruss Best of Fan Club Spotlight/100. 2012 Allen and Ginter Mini Black.


2001 Donruss Class of 2001 First Class Autographs/100, 2005 Studio Proofs Silver/100. 2021 Donruss Red/2021. 1997 SPx Bronze, only Canseco and McGwire in the team set but now I have all of the parallels except for the Grand Finales. 2016 Topps Black/65, yes I'm masochistic enough to consider the league leaders cards part of the team set. 2005 Donruss Champions Impressions.


2002 Fleer Authentix Second Row/250 and Front Row/150. 1998 Topps Gold Label Black Label - all Class 1, 2, and 3 cards. 2001 Bowman Chrome X-Fractors. 2020 Topps Rainbow Foil. 2005 Leaf Limited Spotlight Bronze/99.


2014 Topps Chrome Gold Refractors/50. 2005 Upper Deck Gold/99...they only did 2005 Gold parallels for series 2 so not many in the set compared to the large number of UD Gold parallels 2006-2010.

Haven't gotten around to posting. Few things this month. First, an O'Neill from the inaugural Sweet Spot set.



Second, lot of lower-end Mantles from an actual trade. It's been a while since I've been able to work out a larger trade. Was able to clear out a few things for these. The Mays and checklists are duplicates.





Lastly, my first hockey card and also the first Panini card in my collection. This is not manufactured, but an actual game-used patch! Landed this for around $200 which to me seems like a steal, especially for an 'M.' The first letterman in my collection, and that too of a legend.
