Finally a TTM!!!!

It's coming from Jane Goodall. She swapped my index card and SASE and sent me a postcard and a couple brochures for her institute.

Is this common for Votto? How do you know they are ghost signed? Not being a jerk or anything, serious questions. Any further info would be appreciated.

No problem Joe. The general consensus is that his girlfriend signed all the recent ttm requests. There are a few ongoing threads over at SCN about the recent Votto returns but i'll give you the basic summary here. One thing was that all the ttm returns were signed very small compared to the large signature his gives in person, also the ttm returns were not as fluid. It seems as if a certified sticker auto was used as a guideline hence the small signatures. Another red flag was when his girlfriend posted a twitter pic of her table showing piles of his autograph requests and made a comment of "having a lot of work to do" or something to that extent.

Thank you for the information. Very interesting. I agree that it looked small, but was hoping for the best. Haha

Do you know if anyone has submitted one to PSA or JSA? Would be interesting to see how that turned out.

No problem, I know how it feels to have a nice autograph request return only to find out it may be questionable.

I haven't checked that thread in a couple of days but since most of the returns sent the last few years just came back within the last few weeks I doubt anyone has sent and had a response to PSA or JSA yet (but if anyone does I will let you know). Though fwiw as a huge ttm/ip auto collector I have very little faith in what PSA or JSA says and tend to agree with the facts given that these are ghost-signed.

Thank you again, Justin. I do appreciate all of the information. I am definitely new to ttm, so people that can find better information than me and are willing to share are a huge help. I don't completely trust PSA or JSA on regular autographed items, I just didn't know if maybe any of these had passed through.

I see the differences. I was just holding out a little hope that there could be a chance it was real. Even though it looks like it's not, it was still nice to get something back.

Nice ST return

Daniel Moskos - 2/2 c/o Pirates ST. Signed a 2011 Topps and 2011 Bowman in fading black Sharpie. I had given up on just about all of my ST attempts before this one came back postmarked from Indianapolis.

Got Roger Clemens coming out of the courthouse yesterday. Got a ball sweet spotted. There were about 10-12 people and I was told that was the most that had been there yet. Clemens seemed like a great guy and didnt mind signing for everyone. Don't have a pic of the actual autograph on the computer right now but I tweeted this yesterday

Got these two back from Marcus Stroman today (about 10 days). Definitely one of my favorite college players to watch the past couple years, so very pleased.

I could never imagine waiting outside a courthouse to get an autograph. Especially when its the guy the charges are against. Call me self conscious, but i would not want to be seen doing that. Thats just me obviously but it would freak me out a tad.

I am just surprised that he was signing under the circumstances unless he wants to keep what's left of his image up.
I think that is what he is trying to do. He was really cordial, didn't seem to mind at all, and almost seemed to want to sign for everyone. After everything I have read it seems he is going to get off because McNamee is getting killed on the stand.
