I'm not buying them. It's funny listening to the radio personalities crowning them (yes Denny Green) before the season starts.. then they win a couple of games and it's a given they're going to win the SB. Problem is, people here aren't objective about them and severely let down when they fail.

I'm sure this happens in every city, even Indianapolis, but it just sucks because I have to hear it here every day and I've never liked the team.

I'm still not sold on the offense. The defense is legit and has been playing lights out but sick as hell of all the haters talking about the teams that they are beating.

The Bears have had an extremely easy schedule this year. Only played against one winning team and lost. If they can pull off a win against Houston & San Fran, then I will say they are a legitimate contender.

There are going to be some great match-ups left this year for them. Besides next week, they've still got the 49ers, and then the second Packers/Bears is goign to EPIC. It will be interesting to see what that defense can do against a guy (Rodgers) who isn't prone to making mistakes, which the Bears D capitalizes on better than anyone.

Still, even if Green Bay has to go thru Chicago and Atlanta in the playoffs, it's not like it hasn't been done before.

Bottom line: it seems this team succeeds despite the offense. Defense may win championships, but offense wins games, and the playoffs are a series of games (John Madden).

If the Bears can beat Houston next week. I'll leave it alone. If they beat San Fran as well, I'll even give them props.

I agree they need to go 3-1 in the next 4. If they do it will quiet the critics
