They're in Knoxville. Nothing associated with baseball in Knoxville is legit. Go Dores.

On a side note, I'd be wary of anyone selling for that much below Beckett. Even if beckett is inflated/unrealistic, makes no sense to sell for that little an amount of cash.

The biggest red flag is that he knows what it sells for on eBay.

Corbin has done less with more at Vandy the past 5 years than any other coach in the country. All while Serrano was rebuilding programs and going to CWS. It'll take a couple of years, but Serrano has proven to be twice the coach Corbin is and will recruit nationally just fine.

Not to mention, Vandy has the advantage of giving out what amounts to full scholarships due to need base scholarships. Most kids would like to go to school for free. And yet, Corbin loves getting bounced in the regionals and supers.

No doubt Serrano recruits the heck out of california and dominated the Big West Conference. Corbin has adjusted very well to the new 'small ball' college baseball (brought on by the rolled bats of ut and auburn, among others). We'll see how it plays out. Both ut and vandy have gone to the same amount of CWS in the past decade, anyway.

Vandy does have that advantage. I mean, I call it 'being a school that values equal and open access to high level academics', personally. UT has the also helpful advantage of in-state tuition to TN residents and being able to admit whoever they want. Not all VU players get the need-based grants, by the way. A fair amount still pay tens of thousands of dollars per year.

We also have the advantage of having recruited and developed a parade of 1st round pitchers, including a 3 time all-star.
