You know, those 9 card holders, like these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/50CT-PRO-9-POCKET-P ... tsupported

:?:

I have thousands of old Garbage Pail Kids and years and years of baseball team sets in binders.

Are these frowned upon for some reason?

I was thinking about putting most of my Utley PC stuff in pages to save space. :| Except the big money stuff and cards with relics or autos.

Thoughts on these?

I like them for storage reasons and to flip through them from time to time to view my collection, if you are not putting high $ cards in the pages then don't be afraid to use them IMO

Thanks. Yeah my good stuff are in loaders or magnetic holders, but I wanted to slim down.

You think chromes and refractors would be ok in these?

They will 'flatten out' but if they are PC and you don't mind then go for it....

I think a lot of collectors aren't usually sophisticated enough to care about storage for display, so they just put the cards into top loaders and in a box.

Maybe it is just because of just the brand name, but I'd stick to Ultra Pro for any nine-pocket pages.

No they will not.In a year or so the chrome surface will stick to the pages so bad you will have a hard time pulling the card out of the pages.I had a collection I went through a while back and they were all in pages. There were a couple of cards were the surface was actually screwed up because it had stuck to the pages so long.Plus its hard not to damage them when pulling them out after they get stick like that.It was bad news.

Either or.They still stick. But the pages get pretty bad.At least you can cut away a penny sleeve if its necessary with little chance of ruining the card.

Didn't know such pages existed...this would be amazing for my Lankford collection. Where can I find these pages? Any online retailers you are aware of?
