I agree, I think the very definition of "die-hard fan" would mean that it'd be impossible to be a die-hard fan of not only three teams, but two teams in the same sport, in the same league.

I root for the Red Sox and the Giants. I lived in Boston from the age of 2-10 and walked to many games at Fenway park. I've gone to hundreds of Giants games now that I live in the Bay Area. I can't imagine being a baseball fan and going to hundreds of games (of a nonrival) and not find a rooting interest.

Rooting interest is a far different thing then die-hard fan.

I'm a die hard fan of the Orioles and will root for them over any team.

In the NL I root for the Phillies and the Pirates. The Phillies b/c I grew up watching them...the Pirates b/c they are quasi-local and I have sympathized with their fans the past 15 years.

If the Orioles are completely out of the running, I will root for the Rays b/c 1. Ben Zobrist is one of my favorite players and 2. I really respect the way the front office runs that team.

I should add that it's been easy to find someone else to root for later in the year since the O's had sucked for so long before last year. But it's not even close when it comes to the O's. I bleed orange and black.

Not a die hard fan of any team, but my two teams are the Jays and the Yankees, Teheran might make me a Braves fan as well.

I'm a die hard fan of the Giants. I'm a moderate fan of the A's and then a slight fan of the Angels.

I root for primarily 2 teams - Rays & A's.
and i pull for the dodgers now because of Mac

Grew up A's fan cause of Mac. They will always be my first team.

Became a Ray's fan after attending games starting in 2006 when my parents moved to FL and they gave me a team to root hard against the Yankees.

La Dodgers - not a legit fan but i root for them now because McGwire is with them.

I'm a Cardinals fan.

And I love the Yankees.

The Cardinals are my team, but I knew a lot about the Yankees history before I even became a baseball fan.

I live near St. Louis, started to like baseball, became a Cardinals fan. Love them to this day.

But I really enjoy watching the Yankees play. My 2nd favorite sports team.

And i'm not ashamed.

I'm primarily an A's fan but can definitely get behind the Giants when the time arises. Baseball is the only major sport where my allegiance isn't 100% clear cut. I'm a die hard SF 49ers and Sacramento Kings fan but couldn't give a rats butt about the Raiders and Dubs.

I'd say I was a diehard fan of both the Twins and Marlins. Grew up in MN, lived in South Florida for nine years, now back in MN. I'm just glad they rarely play each other.

Cardinals and Twins for me. Grew up in Southern Illinois--Cardinal Country. Listened to Jack Buck on the radio with my Dad. When my oldest brother moved to the Twin Cities in the mid-70's I started to follow Minnesota teams--mostly Twins and Vikings. Fast forward to 1984, and I move to Minnesota for college (St. Cloud State) Three years later, my two teams play each other in the World Series. Guess I couldn't lose either way! Living as close to Minnesota as I do, I'm still a big Twins fan, but always watch the Cards and follow them just as close.
