If I am selling a card on ebay, can I also show a list, picture or internet link of cards that I am buying?

I tried something (with no success) that may work for you? There were certain cards I was looking for, for example I have a set of 4 Sabathia button cards, and there were 5 made. I really wanted that fifth one. I listed the set of 4 during free listing day for something crazy like $6,000 and put in there that the only reason I was listing them was because I'm looking for the missing button.

I think that if you had an auction for a card you were actually selling, the pictures would cause confusion. If you put a list in the auction, that will piss people off when it messes up their searches and they'll block you from their searches. It's too bad the "Want it now" feature isn't more popular....

Yeah something tells me that once reported to eBay they would probably take it down because I'm sure they could find a way to make it against their terms of selling.

I have had some success and would definitely recommend sending something with anything that you send out in the mail. Such as a flier thanking the customer for their purchase, but also informing them that you are looking for some cards. If people have them and are wanting to get rid of them, I'm sure they would contact you from that!
