Jonathan Gray (the Rockies pitching prospect) and I share the same first and last name (spelling and all) but I am not of relation to any current or past baseball players. My uncle played on the D-line for Purdue during the Bob Griese years but his career was cut short (due to seizures) before he could make the NFL.

My cousin married the son of famed baseball umpire Augie Donnatelli who ump'ed in the 50's to the 70's. One of his last game he called Willie Mays out at the plate during the 1973 World Series, a play which became a fairly famous picture of Mr. Mays at the time. This would also be one of the last games Willie Mays would ever play as well.
