We've been scoring a lot of late inning runs these last few days and I like it!

I don't want to be too optimistic...but it looks like the team is starting to jive together. Quality starts, bullpen has been lights out if you exclude Bracho & Delgado, timely hitting, solid defense & late inning runs. We still fail to come through in many of the RISP opportunities early in the game but as long as we continue to get those late inning clutch hits then it makes up for it.

That and we could really use the clutch extra base hitting Goldy of past years but I'm sure eventually he'll find his stride and start connecting with the ball more often.

I knew we were going to lose this game when Ray had to throw 33 pitches in the first. When it takes him a ton of pitches to get the players out it's an indicator that he's going to get creamed.
