Well it could have been a quality start from Corbin but he just couldn't resist giving up these home runs.

We get a leadoff hit but Ahmed follows it up by nearly grounding into a double play.

The way our offense has looked today I'm confident we lost this game.

Segura with a base hit puts runners on 1st & 3rd with 1 out.

These are the situations where we have failed to come through with the big clutch hit today. Owings is not the guy to do it.

Just as I thought...Owings whiffs. Typical.

That was a situation where we had to at least get a run off a sacrifice but Owings simply isn't a good player.

Runners at 2nd & 3rd with 2 outs and Goldy at the plate.

Problem right here is that Goldy hasn't had good plate discipline lately so he is strikeout prone.

Goldy did a good job drawing the walk.

Now it's Peralta with bases juiced.

My early prediction before the game starts in 5 minutes...
de la Rosa will not get past the 3rd inning and give up 7-9 runs. He's awful against lefties and the Cubs have SIX in their lineup.
