Our offense sucks
Our defense sucks
Our starting pitching sucks
Our bullpen sucks

I wish I could find a bright spot...well, we do have a player with a cool name (Socrates Brito) so I guess I'll focus on that.
I feel ya on that, Red Sox have finished in last place 3 out of the past 4 seasons. Our best pitcher who had at least 24 starts last year was Miley. Wade freakin' Miley. I still watched 90% of the games though, because there were a few bright spots like Xander Bogaerts and Jackie Bradley Jr's defense.

Tomas is aboard on an error. One of the very few ways he can actually get on base..
Here comes Tomas, the worst all around player in the world.
2nd worst player, behind Pablo Sandoval. I'll bet Tomas hasn't snapped his belt in half swinging at a pitch this year....

I really think he could be something special, in fact I believe he'll be our best pitcher this year.
Interesting! He definitely has the potential...and I think he is figuring out how to be more of a pitcher too. Does he have an innings cap this year?

That gif is hilarious. I think you have a legit claim of Sandoval being the worst. I remember he was awful for the Red Sox last year.

How are the Sox doing this year? I haven't had time to pay attention to them this year. The Sox have always been my favorite team in the AL East. In the past I've rooted for them when they made the postseason but it seems like it has been awhile since they've made it there.

Corbin has no innings cap this season so I'm hopeful he reaches 200+ IP again. He had great strikeout stuff with really good command during ST but he hasn't exhibited yet. It's still very early.

With 2 outs Corbin gives up a double to Puig.

Unlike the D-Backs, the Dodgers are able to produce with runners in scoring position so I'm confident the Dodgers will score right here.

That is, if the safe call stands on this replay

Please tell me Goldy wasn't injured running to first.

As if our offense wasn't bad enough. We just can't afford to lose Goldschmidt.

Two quick outs...our offense looks lazy, tired and dead. As if they aren't even trying and I wouldn't doubt it if they weren't.

.
I think they have a good team this year, solid chance at a Wild Card spot and decent enough chance to win the division....all comes down to Starting Pitching. I'm really impressed by our offense, we have came from behind to tie or take the lead in every game we have been losing. Yesterday our 2 highly prized offseason acquisitions (Kimbrel/Price) combined for 8ER and we still almost won the game, had the winning run at the plate in the 9th. Best thing the manager did this year was put Pablo on the bench for Travis Shaw who can play some really good baseball......salaries be damned! Wins prediction: 89-73 (Wild Card)

I'm really pulling for Benintendi to get a late season call. I think he's a 5 tool beast and probably a top 10 prospect when the midseason prospect rankings come around.
