I thought the same, but just a temp solution, according to Hale. Archie starting Sunday, some guy named Edwin Escobar starting Monday. I assume Leone and Bracho both go back down at that point - or Collmenter if he's complete garbage.

He also called RDLR's injury a "strained UCL." Out at least a month - but for a guy that's already had one TJ in his career, can't be a good sign. Of course, just as Rubby was starting to put his crap together.

So Archie was called up? That's good to hear.

Apparently Shipley is not on the 40 man dl so in order to get him up we'd have to drop somebody.

But Edwin Escobar? Guy has been in the minors for 8 years and never found any real success. I do remember seeing his name on a top 100 list like a 2-3 years ago. I dunno, I'd probably rather see Godley get the start. At least he has some success at the major league level.

Ray has always had excellent k numbers. The problem are the walk numbers and the massive amount of pitches it takes for him to get an out. It seems like he's always throwing 20+ pitches per inning which is why he averages only 5.1 IP per game in his career.

Welp...the team with a complete lack of ability to hit...just put up double digits against us.

And we are getting shutout by some complete unknown pitcher with very little potential.

Sums up our season. I'm changing my earlier prediction of 70-75 wins...I believe we will end the season with close to 100 losses. Possible last place.
