Goldy walks and now bases are loaded for Lamb with 2 outs and only 1 run back.

They are bringing in a lefty so he'll surely fail to produce.

He was only at 90 pitches so he could have probably gone further but they just used a pinch hitter in his spot so apparently his day is over. I would have put him back out there because our pen has been useless this series.

Yeah his pitch count was low enough to go 1 more inning but they probably felt it was best for his confidence to take him out after 7. Great outing especially against the best team in baseball.

Yeah, in the end it was a good game for him so it's better to be safe than sorry. Let him come out feeling good for himself, could help future performance.

Well, this has been a terrible series against the Cubs but it's good to see Bradley & Corbin come out of it with some darn good games. That game for Bradley was huge as I'm sure it was a big confidence booster. Maybe he'll continue stringing along some quality starts.

O'Brien leads the minors in home runs again! But they'll never bring him up for more than a day or two because we've got Bourn...who struck out 4 times today.
