Dang...not only does Greinke lead all NL pitchers in WAR, he leads the entire NL with a 6.9 WAR!

The NL Cy Young will likely come down to Greinke, Scherzer or Kershaw

Yeah, we are going to lose this one. This is the 3rd time Walker has loaded the bases with nobody out.

That and the fact our lineup can't string together any hits against a lowly rookie with a huge ERA.

Walker just walked in a run with bases loaded. How fitting.

This is the reason why I wouldn't include Walker in our postseason rotation (assuming we get there and win the one game playoff). Doesn't have the big strikeout stuff like the rest of our arms which leads to a lot of walks & hits. He's been lucky to keep his ERA down to 3.45, as his FIP is above 4.

As for Patrick Corbin, he's strung together some really good starts these last couple months but he's inconsistent & unreliable.

Greinke, Ray & Godley are our best arms so we use them. None of them have an ERA over 3.00, they all average over a strikeout per inning & have a WAR above 5.

Finally some runs! And they came from the bat of (guess who?) J.D. Martinez. He hits his 40th HR of the season.

We'd have gotten at least 3 runs (possibly tied it) if our manager would stop batting Lamb 3rd who grounded into another double play.

J.D. Martinez is averaging a HR every 7.8 at-bats in a D-Backs uniform.
