Arod buyback. Real or fake?

Anyone know what set this buyback is from? Bowman Originals? Bowman Sterling?

Is it even real? I could not find it on the OPG. I had it on my watch list but was hesitant to bid very high because I was unsure of its authenticity.

A-Rod is one of the most faked autos by the sellers that sell fake buybacks. I wouldn't touch one unless I knew for sure that it was authentic. If it is a fake, I doubt the seller is the one who faked it.

Fake IMO... The sticker on the back seems to be in an odd place. usually it's in the bottom right corner

Thanks for the input guys, my gut suspicion was correct. I have been looking for an Arod NYY auto and I really liked the design of this one. Oh well!

I may be in the minority but despite all the forgeries, I still like buybacks. I'm sure some here feel the same way about patches.

have never seen 1 like that + given the past issues w/bowman originals + the fact that arod's 1 of the most forged autos + the fact i couldn't find it in a quick search of price guides, i'm inclined to think it's fake.

People still buy UPPER deck buybacks. I know the griffey's were being faked but i have yet to see a faked McGwire 40 Man buy back auto from 02'. And they go for 150+.

but yes alot of are right, buybacks are a weary issue
