Not a bad signing. We needed a left handed batter and we could play him at 1B. Hopefully he can be the 08 Huff and not the 09 one

If we could sign Jermaine Dye to man LF put derosa in RF and have Rowand in CF i think the Giants would be set.

And I can see Posey putting up a similar season to sandovals break out year last year.

1. Yes I like the effort and a push for the post season.
2. I think he'll be way better offesnively than Travis.

The Giants have quite a few players that can play multiple positions.
Pablo Sandoval: 1B, 3B and some C
Mark Derosa: 1B, 2B, 3B, LF, CF, RF
Juan Uribe: 2B, SS, 3B
Aubrey Huff: 1B, 3B, LF, RF (Most likely Not)
Nate Schierholtz: LF, RF
