August 2017 Pickups

Didn't see a pickup thread for August yet.

Not baseball, but part of my Japanese PC.

Finally snagged one of those pen relics.

Been wanting to pick up one of these, found a BGS9 for less than what raw copies go for. I must be in the minority, but I'd rather have a graded mint copy than take a chance on a raw one.

Finally picked up a 2004 Topps Heritage Mariano Rivera SP. I don't understand the market on these. For once, I was happy to pay full book.

Someone hit a 1/1 Russell athletic Juan Gonzalez card on a cardsmith breaks group mixer tonight. Hopefully it shows up so you can add it to your awesome NT collection.
