yes. i think it's maybe a subset. 2006 topps had the whiter sox GU with the world series logo. I recall most going for a few bucks, when normally, their GU wouldn't get a bite at 99 cents

It is pretty limited and part of the Topps base set. And Topps set collectors are insane.

Its not the title that made the card worth more ::facepalm:: . Its the fact that the card is more limited, rarer, less copies available, harder to get ::facepalm:: .

How much lower print run is that card?
Is the same sticker Topps had him signed a year ago. They just put in on a different card.

UpperDeck should copy topps and start putting WS moment and put their sticker on the card so it will have more demand than regular logo.

I don't think you are following. It's a RARER card.

Does it really matter is rarer?
This can be 1 of 1 and we have 3 different color plate.
Personally I just want the Auto.
If this was a game used from the World series than I can understand being limit.
The auto is the same as the sticker from other insert.

Of course it matters.

The world series auto/gu inserts are pulled something like 1:10000 packs or so.

Yes, it's just a Shane Victorino auto, but it's also part of a subset Topps set collectors put together, Phillies teams collectors put together, and a card Shane Victorino collectors go after. ITS RARE AND ITS VERY DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN A COPY SO PEOPLE BID BIG $ TO GET IT.

Understood now?

Rare Topps inserts are highly sought after... it's Topps master set collectors that lead to this. Look on Ebay and see if you can find any 2004 Topps All-Star Patches that were SPed to 35.. I guarantee that you won't see any. I sold a Jamie Moyer from this set for $100+ a couple years back.

Some of the 2001 Topps Golden Anniversary Autographs are the same way. There are a few SP rookies that sell for $200-300, even though the guy never made it to the bigs.
