Autograph help please

Not sure what he wants to do with them yet, told him his best option was to authenticate them and have them auctioned off if they are real.

The exhibit cards I don't have scans or pics of. They are in rough shape with writing and creases but some big names ie Gehrig, Ruth, Cobb. Post card size, black and white photos. The album was filled with papers of signatures with papers behind papers. I only took pics of ones showing.
What would be the best way to have them sold? ebay auction house or just a private sale to a collector?

If its a large amount, I would say Auction House and let them do the work.

some of those Exhibits might be worth more than that ball and those album pages combined ... just saying

even beater Ruths sell for $400+ usually... Gehrig slightly less, and Cobb 1/2 that....

and some... ie 1925 Gehrig routinely sells for $5K++, w/ higher grade ones over $10K ...(the 1925 books for $12K in NRMT)

The condition of the Dodgers ball is immaculate.
You rarely see signed team balls so white with autographs that look like they were signed yesterday.

I wonder why Jackie Robinson didn't sign it (it was his final season).
The lack of a Koufax signature is not optimal either, but it's an awesome ball regardless.

The autographed sheets are great as well!

I've always wondered if Auto cut card manufacturers don't express interest in collections like this...

they do, and they destroy these treasures for a quick $

leave these in their original vintage as received form is always best.... they were all signed on the same day, some within minutes of ea. other, and it tells a story of the Autograph Book Era.....
this cut it into odd shapped pieces, slab everything hype Era has ruined many nice vintage items. the worst is when they actually chop off part of a sig to make it fit, or even cut down 90 % of a vintage photo just so it fits in some lame plastic tomb....
