The new center piece of my collection. I really have wanted one of these for a long time and got this one for what I feel is a good price. I don't care about the grade and may take it out of the holder so it will display better.

VERY nice pickup Erich...I agree with the grade...Who Cares?? :lol: Snap it out of the holder to make it shine even more. I'm jealous to say the least...that is definitely a "cornerstone" of an on card dual auto :mrgreen:

EDIT: For me I wouldnt bust it out....resell wise down the road, if you ever had to, it would be far better off in that BGS case for resell value.

Sorry to outbid you. The holder is all scratched up and really looks like crap. That was the reason for wanting to break it out. Yes I agree with you on keeping it the holder otherwise.

Awesome piece. On my wishlist for sure.

For a card like that, if it's gonna grade less than an 8.5, I always ask for a simple "authentic" label. Maybe consider having it reholdered.

It did come out of a pack. There were 1000 of the Griffeys, 1000 of the Mantles and 1000 Duals.
