B.J. Upton pulled out of lineup

Went to the game tonight in KC.
Rays outfield defense was abysmal

I did manage to get two baseballs during BP and got them signed by Hellickson and Price

What is Upton even worth? O.k. defensively, nothing special offensively. I know he's still somewhat young, but getting into his prime years and has yet to show an extended period of awesome stats. People may still be high on his potential, but I feel he is far from living up to his highly projected upside(thus far atleast)

On a side note:

I beleive he can be one of the best young talents in the game if he puts the effort forward, but he clearly isn't interested in much else then the payday so far.

I posted this yesterday but he's put up 73rd best player in all of fantasy baseball numbers this season. That's including pitchers.

He's the 36th best over the last 30 days.

I realize the batting average looks bad but he does so many different things offensively (and from CF) that he's actually quite a valuable player.

His biggest problem is showing flashes of SUPER stardom, but then looking (LOOKING) like he has no desire to achieve it.
