Hey everyone, I just wanted to get everyone's take on who they think will be "worthy" enough to grace BA's Hot Sheet? Lets see those prediction's!!! I really think that Michael Taylor has a shot (though his 0-fer in the first gm/make-up gm played yesterday will be BA's excuse for excluding him on the actual sheet- as they ALWAYS seem to have n excuse so I don't think this week will be any different) as he's produced these stat's starting from last Fri/22 through Thurs/28:

.382 avg (13-for-34), 6runs, 2-2B, 3B, 8RBI's, 2HR's, 2SB's, "1K" (only 1 strikeout is pretty impressive IMO)!

What do you guy's think? Good Luck on your prospect's everyone! :D

Edit: it shows on milb.com that M.Taylor's 0-fer was not the "makeup" game?? Hmm, I guess I got mixed up on that one? Either way, he was 0-3 & then went 2-4. :D

I think Hanson will make is usual appearance. Probably #5?

Will they just promote the guy already, I want to see what he can do so we can trade Medlen or another pitcher for someone who can HIT on this pathetic team.

I think it is time to list my Montero :ugeek:

Maybe they're being a bit gunshy with him, after seeing what happened to Medlen.

All of Montero's HRs have occured on days where he DH'd.

Anyone think he might be able to force himself in their lineup by the end of next season?

Matsui should be gone...this is Damon's last year under contract, but with the season he has had, he might be resigned.

bringing him up is a bit pointless

The braves aren't gonna win with or without tommy hanson right now.

Oh I agree with this statement. It is not so much about winning as it is about seeing what pieces you have and what pieces you can trade away to get a power bat. That outfield is pretty pathetic....I am sure they rank near the cellar in HRs and runs scored. They need an Adrian Gonzalez type player and move some prospects (since the team they are trading with will be out of the hunt and looking for cheap salaries). I say Medlen and Freedie for Gonzalez. The season will be gone in 4 weeks, they can't wait much longer.

i would cry if freddie got traded

however I would LOVE to have adrian gonzalez.

Anyone should love to have adrian gonzalez. Easiley one of the best hitters in the game, he just doesn't get any attention.

Cardenas has only 2 XBH that qualify for this hot sheet.

I'd say Vitters again... Cardenas definitely has a punchers chance... I'd really like to see him make it. He's been tearing it up in AA.
