Unforunately the 2 ERs are going to hurt his chances.....Esmil Rogers has 8 innings 5 Ks and 0 ERs for example.

I am much more impressed with 19 strikeouts in 12 innings rather than 5 strikeouts in 8 innings. It shows the dominance of the outings....
BUT, I completely understand what you are saying about the runs..

+1.....I totally agree with you......the problem is there are just too many pitchers out there who can throw a shutout :?
I dont quite understand how they weigh each statistical category.....do you?
