I'd have to differ with you there - Heyward might make the team photo, but I don't see him cracking the Top 13. Solid week but not spectacular.

Elbert has a lot better shot at making it.

In addition:

Michael Taylor
Nick Neglarz
Ike Davis
Kent Matthes
Jon Gaston
Casey Kelly
Jordan Lyles
Nick Barnese
Esmil Rogers
Marc Rzepczynski
Kyle Drabek
Wade Davis
Travis Wood

If Freeman doesn't make it there is something wrong.

That's precisely what was said last week and he landed on the Team Photo, despite having a better week than most of the guys who made the Top 13.

Question ~

Wood: 6 IP , 4 Hits , 2 walks, 3 Ks, 0 ER ~ AA

Bell: 7 IP, 3 Hits, 1 wak, 4 Ks, 0 ER ~ AAA

How is Wood on the list and not Bell?

To be honest, neither should be on the list.

Those outings aren't that impressive overall.

And here I didn't even think Esmil Rogers would make it again because of his outing....8 IP, 1 ER, 7 Ks.

I feel like a broken record, Devaris Gordon. .465 last ten with 8 steals, great lead-off hitter.

You keep forgetting that ceiling plays just as much a part in compiling their list as performance. Many would argue that Wood wins that battle between the two.

Help me understand why he wins...I know he is a lefty but he is a few months older than Bell and is only in AA....he walks more than Bell and has a higher WHIP.

I know I am biased towards him, but Julio Borbon may make the team photo.

Last 10: 13/40 .325
June: 29/88 .330

He has really picked it up this month. Currently in the Top 10 (7) in the PCL in hits.

BA should stop with the ceiling crap. Rate it strictly on performance. Ceiling is basically equal to the potential a player has, so when he shows that potential then rank him!
