Anyone really hoping their guy kicks it into the gear?

Collier.

He's starting to show some life...

:fingers crossed:

He had a good night last night. I think he's a little more raw then we all thought. I truly believe he will turn it around(this year or next year).

Gose has done better then I expected. Especially the steals.

Start of the second half of the season for the MiLB. Anyone really hoping their guy kicks it into the gear? I'm pretty happy with most of mine for the most part. Walden would be my biggest disappointment so far.

Logan and Rincon have been on a tear the whole year. And i thought Darnell was supposed to be the more advanced 3rd baseman.

Very nice, how far is away from the show, another 2 years?

I think he was drafted in 05 and missed the 07 season

I'm thinking 2011. He hits the ball just as hard as Angel does.

Uhhhh just curious but why is Grant Desme on the Hot List? Shouldn't he be in the "Men Amongst Boys" section as he is 23 in Hi-A??? I know that was what BA stated on several account's last year for Michael Taylor & he was 22 in Hi-A.....HMMMMmmmm, this is yet another reason why I believe they have tried to downplay Taylor's progression (since early on they never predicted him to do much, I think they continue to downplay his success to try & avoid admitting to them being wrong)... Sorry for the rant but it just ticks me off thinking of all the weeks he deserved an appearance on the Hot Sheet & yet was considered "too old" by BA...yet on several instance's since Taylor's 3-4 ommission's they have placed player's as old or older than Taylor was in Low-A & High-A on thier list's!

JP, ask them why ol' Grant Desme made the sheet at 23 in Hi-A (they always answer you big guy)! :D

I imagine it's because it's his first (full) season in proball outside of the 3 AB's he got last year? He doesn't look to be a very good prospect though. K's a ton.

Forget "kicks it into gear", I'm hoping for "gets back on the field". Daeges' ankle got worse, he's still in Ft. Myers.

Adrian Cardenas! finally! This guy has been absolutely dominant in AA ball... I'm hoping for a AAA/MLB call-up before the end of the season.

As for turnarounds, I'd like see Michael Main get his act together whenever he recovers from his mono.

How is Heyward not mentioned?! ::facepalm:: Even more impressive when he moves up a level and produces at a higher rate than he did at the previous; multi-hit games, game-winning rbi's... Maybe they're just sick of mentioning him all the time. ;)

It would be Main for me. But it looks like hes not going to get a chance to turn it around this year because it looks like he's out for the year with an unknown illness.

Not enough playing time over the past week. Only 3 games.

Yes the starting pitcher. I don't think it was ever confirmed he has mono.

Expert from Jamey Newberg's Blog -

It's been a nightmare 2009 for Main, who has been sidelined by an undiagnosed illness that, according to at least one Internet report, will cost him the remainder of the season

It would be Kyle Skipworth for me. Very big disappointment. Very much hope that he turns it around.

They hate him so much and want to give him so little credit but they put him in their top 25?

Interesting.

Well phillyfan, since you always feel the need to comment on all of my post's (it's odd having more than 1 shadow :D ) how would you explain all of the past omission's of M.Taylor by BA on the Hot List- though he did get put on the "Men Amongst Boy's" section??? (Since it is Taylor, & not your investment- D.Brown- you weren't bothered by it; but fact's are fact's & BA themselve's stated they omitted Taylor from the Hot Sheet because of his age....so why is M.Taylor susceptible to omission from the Hot Sheet due to being too old (22 in Hi-A), & yet Grant Desme (23 in Hi-A) as well as several other's in recent history are not???

The situation is kinda like a post I read from your link (to one of the Phillies Fan chat-board's) which was also describing BA discriminating against player's in which BA predicted wouldn't be much in term's of a prospect (but then the player produces at such a high level that BA must acknowledge them). Here's the quote & the answer to your comment in which you posted above:
"its human nature to try to protect ones prior grades until absolutely proven wrong…these guys get paid to put grades on prospects , do you really think they are goin to admit being wrong until they absolutely have no choice?"

There now phillyfan, now do you understand? :D

Sorry champ, when you talk about phillies prospects, its likely i'll comment. Also, find 10 times when i've commented about something you've said and i'll never do it again. Another thing, I own Taylors, I just dont own much high end.

Now on to your comment, I;d much rather have Michael Taylor on the top 50 list of prospects than the hot sheet, in fact, I prefer players I like not be on the hot list. BA needs to cover tons of leagues and every single week there are a few players who should have made the list.
