Craig Allen's ceiling is about an inch above his helmet. Cant see him as a prospect at 25 years of age.

His name is Allen Craig. You are the anti-cougar. Of course he is a prospect. He's in AAA tearing it up. He's been very good for the last few years. Just because he wasn't rushed to the majors doesn't make him a non-factor anymore. He could be in the minors for a couple more years and still be a prospect IMO.

I would love to know what qualifies a player as not being a prospect anymore in the minors.

Opps, i was tired when typing that up, shoot me! lol Yes, i AM the anti-cougar! ha ha

Lets put flipping cards for cash aside for a minute (yes, i know, what a concept). At 25 years old, what are the odds
of him having a long MLB career? In the history of the game, what % of "greats" of the MLB have started their MLB
career at such an advanced age?

Agree with ya here. He's less likely to put up HOF numbers starting his MLB career later in the life.

You cant take "long career" and "great career" and possibly equate them to being the same thing though. They certainly arent even close to the same thing. Yeah, yeah, me talking about the guy I collect but EY didnt come up until he was 25 and he ended up playing for 15 seasons in the majors. The guy wasnt a great, heck he may have been one hair above average to most, but he had a long, productive career despite getting a late start so it is possible :)
