Back from the game to primarily see Porcello pitch in person again. He did better this time at Kansas City than his previous trip here in mid April. Although I think he didn't have his best stuff. Velocity was lower than usual I think, only topped out at 93 from what I recall.
This has to be the game that I've the most consistent flame throwing pitchers from both teams. Just about every single pitcher from both clubs threw mid 90s + gas. And got to see Zumaya pitch again. 8-) Gas as usual
Anyways, got there early to watch some BP with a friend and tried out our family's new digital camera. Lot better than our old one with real bad zoom.
Each of us got a ball from BP and got Ryan Perry to sign them, turned out nice.
Anyways, here are some photos from the game I took with the new cam:

Nice stuff!

You're right about the flame throwing. Years of loading up on big arms is paying off now for the Tigers. About the only two guys on the Tigers that don't throw mid 90s are Gallaraga, and Robertson. With at least 4 guys who touch 97 regularly.

The two cans of Red Bull next to Zumaya's feet is a nice touch. ::facepalm:: Like he needs the extra ounce of energy.

Very nice pictures.

Thanks

Hmm, that 96 mph must have eluded me as I looked at the speed quite often for Porcello.

The 2 cans of Red Bull were actually Bobby Seay's. He chugged them right before warming up

Camera is a PowerShot SX10 IS by Canon. Works well, love the zoom on it.
