I like it done this way though I could totally understand individual's hating it if they bought several spot's & got poo'd on by the randomizer (those who got late draft pick's)! :? :lol:

I think it could be a very successful way to go about group break's as long as you keep the price point of the product reasonable...I think the idea of 2005 Absolute Update would kick arse...I also would like to do this in Football & think 09 Absolute FB would be a pretty sweet product to go in on (Ya listenning Andrew??? Are ya? Huh? Are ya? :lol: ) .

I also agree that it is a good idea. Think of it this way, could have got "poo'd" on by the randomizer if we just did it by pull instead of draft choices. I think it is better this way simply because you actually get to pick what is left that you may have an interest in. I know that if it were my turn next and most of the top cards were gone, I would be going after the Brewers Quad. It is most certainly not one of the better cards, but it is one that interests me more. In fact, I would have taken it before the Rasmus auto. So there are so many different variables to these types of breaks.

I know that if it were my turn next and most of the top cards were gone, I would be going after the Brewers Quad.

That is a nice card until you get to Bill Hall. It would have been better as a triple.

I just want to put my 2 cents in on the whole way this was done. First to all of the guys who are down on this let \me ask you a question what is the difference between doing it this way or going to the card shop and buying a pack or even a box? The odds are still pretty much the same either way when you buy the pack or boxes you dont know what is in there til you open it up at least this way you see what is available and yes the good stuff will be taken first of course but at least you get to see whats there. I was skeptical about doing it this way but i like the way it turned out and before you all say anything about my choices i have three picks below 40. I think this was a good idea nad id be up for another on elike this next time. JMO Thanx

Everyone knew far in advance that this was the way it was to be done. If you don't like it, stay out of the break.
I wonder if the people would be commplaining if they got #1 in this break.

i think the idea is brilliant. I agree... if you don't like it, don't join! it gives almost everyone a shot at a player they would want versus one they wouldn't want. Think about it. We all want the big money pulls and with a regular break, we have no control over what we get. Unless you bought one slot and it is the last pick, you do have a choice with this! And what an exciting break if you were the one with the first or second pick. I personally hope these type of breaks continue!

This type of break only works for a few products, It can't be done with everyone.
The product needs to be loaded with hits.

Would work great with Absolute Update and even Prime Patches.

Picks did NOT end up well for me, but the format is great, and I would like to see this done again, with Ballpark, Triple Threads, or even something like a Donruss Champions. I'd be in for multiple slots next time.
