So I was getting a haircut at the barber I've been seeing since my youth and I noticed he out out a box of 94 UD series 1. I asked how much for the whole box, he said $20 and I was sold. I pulled three of these, which would've been great back then:

Oh, and also in the box was this 20 year old hit:

Not bad for $20.

You need to send this story to Beckett, with pics and an Interview with the barber...

Thanks for the kind words everybody. He used to sell packs there back in the day, but he was also a collector. He said he just brought some boxes into the shop that he's had in his house.

What's your problem pine tar?

He doesn't have a problem, its just him being silly.

Great hit, I imagine he was pissed that he didnt just rip it.

I cant have unopened product just sitting.

Oh ok, I see. Yea, I couldn't have unopened product sitting around either. He always asks me to look at his stuff and tell him what it's worth, but he never calls me to check it out.

The guy is about 70 years old. I doubt he's still in the game, lol.

I wouldn't tell your barber you pulled that Griffey autograph.
He might "acccidently" shave off your hair the next time you're there.

I see some Electric Diamonds there. I have been picking these up on and off for several years when I can find a nice deal on them. Any thoughts on putting them together as a lot?

For a 20 year old [gac!] product, the autograph still looks pretty good - looks like UD may have used a fine point Lumocolor/Staedtler type pen.
