I ordered about $40 worth of cards from BargainBaseballCards.com and sent in a check 10 days ago. So far, the check hasn't been cashed and I haven't heard anything from the website opeartor (the email address has the name Chris in it). Is this website still active? It looks like a very good website and I didn't think I would have any problems as they had thousands of cards uploaded to purchase. Thanks everyone for your opinions!

Looks like there was an update about 16 days ago so I would say the site is active. May want to send an email to see what the delay is on cashing the check.

Thank you!!! I sent him an email this morning but have not heard back as of yet (his name is Chris Mann I believe). I have a giant list of commons/semistars I need to fill out some 1980s and 1990s sets and have already purchased quite a few from justcommons.com. Thanks again!

I haven't tried sportlots.com. How does it work? If I buy 300 commons/semistars, do I get charged just 1 flat shipping rate? I read through some of the user's guide, but it isn't clear to me exactly how it works. Thanks again!

Sportlots is just a site that brings buyers and sellers together, so if you buy from 1 seller than there is just one postage fee, but it's set by the seller. If you buy from multiple sellers then there is a postage fee for each.

Thanks! It looks like I just need to find a seller that has most of my set needs.

I could be wrong but I think a lot of people reported negative experiences with that web site.

I haven't heard back from Chris Mann, but it seems like he just dropped off the face of the earth. It's odd that a website with that much detail would just drop off the radar (and the check I mailed would never be cashed). His website definitely works great, and has thousands of cards on it, so I wonder if he just abandoned it all together for some reason. Anyone else ever heard of this person or use this website? Thanks again for all of the replies everyone!!!
