I know d'Arnaud is expected to be very good and I am not a fan/believer in J.P. at all, but what is supposed to happen with Arencibia?

Do you guys seem them moving him or possibly DHing him once d'Arnaud is up?

The Future: J.P. Arencibia smacked 23 homers as a Blue Jays rookie in 2011, but d'Arnaud is a superior hitter and defender. While he's not quite ready to take over Toronto's catching job, he should be knocking on the door soon after getting in some Triple-A seasoning at Las Vegas, where his numbers may see another boost thanks to the offensive nature of the Pacific Coast League. He could make his debut late in the 2012 season and push Arencibia to another position or even team in 2013.

Whoa, that's kinda nuts.

There isn't a bigger fan of Sanchez than me (or a bigger stash/collection) but it's bonkers to have him ahead of Hutchison and Syndergaard.

Surprised Woj is on the top 10, too. But manoman, there's some depth there.

If D'Arnaud forces the issue (and I'm confident he will but, well, you know catching prospects) then I fully expect Arencibia to be dealt. He's not skilled enough to be a DH and it would be wasting a ton of his value, anyway. He'd probably fetch a pretty nice bounty.

BA likes to rank on potential. Wojo sneaking into the Top 10 is a surprise. I'm expecting JPA to get a full season behind the plate, I really don't want to see Mathis too often. D'Arnauds name has popped up in trade rumors (Latos, Soria and Gio) but there's a possibility that JPA is dealt instead. It is also possible that both would stay and alternate C/DH.

No Roberto Osuna. So their system is really stocked not to make it or Luis Heredia is better besides all the hype Osuna got.

Happy to see Marisnick at 3. I know Gose is fast, but BA seems a little high on him. Also good to see Nicolino at 5 even though I have nothing of his. Dude was lights-out last year.

This system is so deep. There are plenty of guys in the 10-20 range that would be in many teams top 10s.

Trade one of the Catchers for starting pitching...doesn't looking very promising IMO

Especially as Morrow as the projected #2 ahead of the upcoming prospects.

C'mon BA, help a brother out!

The last stash I'm hanging on to is Mike McDade. He had a pretty decent year. You can't toss him #9 or #10?

He's one guy I could actually see having a mini-breakout. He's certainly under the radar.

For what it's worth, when I did my personal top 40 Jays for a site I write for, I had McDade 33rd. But it is probably the deepest system (well, probably SD now) in the league.

He had a very good first half before the injury, and had started to cut down the strikeouts. Both good signs.

Jim Callis just tweeted that Nestor Molina ranked 18th on the Jays top 30 prior to the trade. Wow.

And he might just be the White Sox #1 or #2 (Fangraphs had him #2).
