Volstad and miller as your projected #3 and #4 starters looks liek a sick starting rotation to me.

Definitely think Dom should be higher, and Raynor should be on the list instead of Sanchez.

Yes and Uggla should be about 32.

Why? They can't field a team with players in their 30s?

They sure can. I can admit that ive always been an "ageist" when it comes to rookies,
Gaby having been born in 1982, it's well past time to be on a MLB roster

Keep in mind, he'll be no older than Ryan Howard when Howard first stuck in the big leagues.

Now granted, Howard was "old" by our standards...but he should have 10+ solid years on MLB ball in him.

I agree with that. But with Howard, there was good reasoning for his not being called up earlier. Also, from what
ive read, Morrison is not a negative defensively. It's a good "delema" for Florida to have, thats for sure lol

JP, did you win that???

No, but I did make an extremely fair offer for it yesterday. I promised myself not to go buck wild on a non-autographed prospect, regardless if it was his only RC. Once the Marlins' list came out, I knew full well he would hit the BIN but I stuck to my guns.

In this day and age of prospecting, autographed rookies rule. I simply can't justify paying that much. It's that simple.

I asked in the other thread but didn't get any replies.

Where would Volstad fit if he hadn't thrown 84 innings last year? He was 6-4 with a 2.88 ERA in those 84 innings, in 14 starts.
