I just hope by 2014 that Brian Wilson's well tanned beard doesn't get beard cancer from too much awesome sun exposure.

Who was it that said, "There is only one thing worse than being talked about, and that is NOT being talked about?".

Anyway, here's to being boring. These two came up, back to back, in the Giants' chat.

Joel (KCK): In regards to a question asked during the Padres chat, I also would like to know, with a more serious answer, why it is that this Jaypers guy always seems to get the first question and multiple questions answered in every single chat. I would never claim to be the MOST knowledgeable guy when it comes to prospects, but I keep up with them pretty darn good, and 9 times out of 10, I could care less about the ones that Jaypers asks about which is why I usually skip right over the questions that he asks. But on another note, I DO love the chats, and honestly wish that you guys would do them on a more frequent basis, even when it's not top 10 time. Thanks!!!

Andy Baggarly: You're right, JAYPERS had the first question in my queue when I logged in. But I like the questions he asks!

Not Jaypers (Not Illinois): I think we're all getting a little tired of Jaypers and his boring questions. A little change would be nice. Is he married to an editor's daughter or sister or something. Geeesh!!!

Andy Baggarly: If he's in my top 30 on next year's list, you'll know there's nepotism at work.

I should have said, "I know Jaypers from Springfield" when I picked up my Prospect Handbook yesterday, probably could have had a free bowl of soup.

I agree with Andy...Thomas Neal is going to have a FINE offensive season in Fresno (and eventually in SF) this season...get your Neal cards now before they heat up! 8-)

Oscar Wilde, but I think he played for the Celtics...ok, bad Irish joke

I actually do wish BA would update their chat format so that when you log in your name...your real name, that is...is used as opposed to these guys logging in with this sort of idiocy. I'm also surprised they have entertained this many questions dealing with people being anti-JP this year - I'd rather see another question from JP that is worthwhile as opposed to some juvenile whining about not getting a question answered about someones favorite R/R 240lbs 25 year-old AAAA first baseman.

That 2014 rotation just looks nasty.

i was thinking the same thing. looks similar to the phillies lineup this year, just about 10 years younger

It's not much different from the 2010 or 2011 rotation. Only difference is Zito being replaced by Zack Wheeler.

Baggerly's list is okay. I'd move Neal and Surkamp up to #5/6. Jorge Bucardo at 10 and drop Cluberson off completely.

Meh would not move Brandon Crawford from SS to 2B. His defense is his value.

I think either Adrianza or Crawford wins the SS job, and the other player becomes an utility player. It'll either be Culberson or Noonan at 2nd (if Noonan can figure things out).

I'm hoping Noonan's bat translates at the higher levels

Me too - saw him crush a grand slam at Spring Training 2 years ago. He would be a great lefty bat for the Giants if he could figure it out.

Glad to see Zack Wheeler so high up on the list.
Last year while at a local packwars I pulled this out of 3 packs...
