I'm bored with new sets lately so I decided to purchase and break some cool retro products. I'm pulling the inserts, and I will post a full break report with some of the cools things I'm pulling which will be for sale. However, I'm not removing any stars, HOFers, etc. from the base and I'm wondering if anybody would be interested in purchasing the base from this break at cost (cost of purchasing 550 count boxes since these fit best into a USPS flat rate box, and then the cost of shipping the flat rate box). For 1 large flat rate box which holds 4 550 ct boxes it would cost $30 for the shipping and supplies. I'm not sure if all the base from the sets would fit, so it may require an additional box for another $30. Again - I'm not pulling anything base - so for example I saw some desirable cards in the Pinnacle (Ripken, Gwynn), Aurora (Halladay, Aramis Ramirez RC) and in Topps Chrome base (a bunch of HOF / future HOF - Ripken, Henderson, Big Unit, etc.)

Here is what I'm breaking. Let me know if you're interested. If you are, I would accelerate my breaking. If not, I may just throw the base away, which I hate to do.

(1) 1996 Pinnacle Summit Baseball Box (Hobby)
(2) 1997 Bowman Baseball Series 2 Box (Hobby)
(1) 1998 Leaf Baseball Box (Hobby)
(1) 1998 Topps Finest Baseball Series 2 Jumbo Box (HTA)
(1) 1999 Pacific Aurora Baseball Box (Hobby)
(1) 1999 Pacific Paramount Baseball Box (Hobby)
(1) 1999 Upper Deck MVP Baseball Box (Hobby)
(1) 2000 Pacific Paramount Baseball Box (Hobby)
(1) 2000 Upper Deck MVP Baseball Box (Hobby)
(1) 2000 Upper Deck Ionix Baseball Box (Hobby)
(1) 2001 Pacific Private Stock Baseball Box (Retail 2 Pack Guaranteed Hit)
(4) 2001 Topps Chrome Baseball Series 1 Box (Hobby)

Note - I'm an honest guy - a quick glance at my eBay feedback score will evidence that. I'm not recording these breaks, but I really have no need for the base - no interest in trying to see a $2 HOF base card somewhere - so you will literally get every single base card that comes out. I'm just keeping inserts, parallels, SPs.

depending on how big of a rush you're in , i could use them....while i may be able to afford them as much as a month sooner , it may be as long as 2 months (have some extra $$$ coming in the first and third week of may) before i'd have the extra funds available , but if you could hold off til then , i could use pretty much ALL of those products (though if it came down to only getting one box , the highest priority would be the 97 bowman , 98 finest , and 01 topps chrome)....

@game****fanatic - sounds good. I can hang onto the base for you. We can jam whatever you want that will fit into one box and go with that. If you also want whatever is leftover then we can do a second box. Again - totally at cost - just want the base to go to a good home.

For the rest of posts - there will be a full break report with scans coming in a few weeks. Nothing Strawberry or Clark of note yet, but much more to open.

There are some rare Posada from those sets I could use. Looking forward to seeing your break results!
