He is modern day. He last played in the early 90's. How much more modern do you need? You only looking for people that played in the last 10 years? If you need a uniform, you CANT recognize players by their picture as you said you could. I mean, this guy was only a 3 time all star and a 2 time gold glove winner. One of the odder/funnier instances was the likeness between Dodger pitcher Don Newcombe and saxophonist Sonny Rollins. Personally I don't think they look that much alike, but at some point Rollins was given the nickname Newk. Miles Davis told the story in his autobiography that one time in a cab the driver asked Rollins for his autograph because he thought it was Newcombe - Sonny signed of course :lol: .

I am a Yankee fan, therefore I rarely see National League games, which means I never really saw Geoff Jenkins play. I probably couldn't have told you who that was if I didn't check the picture's URL.

the guy is super underrated. never an elite but probably the Brewers best player for quite a while IMO. hit 30+ hr once and in 20s a lot. If he would have played 150 games a year he would have been much more successful. 1 ASG
