Ive been out of actual collecting for a while and want to get back in with only 1 or 2 players at the most.

Player needs to be realtively cheap, someone whos regular auto dosent go for more then $50

My fav team is the yankees and the only person i could think of on the yankees is Cano, but i know someone on here collects him.
I also want someone 2000-present

And someone that has a lot of autos, gus, inserts, numbered stuff like that

If i can decide this weekend i also have alot of paypal to start buying stuff - around $300
Thanks for the help

I think miguel cabrera is a good guy to collect with his age and HOF potential and is cards arent too expensive for how good he is

Does ROI mean anything to you?

If so, I'd try and pick someone who has less than 2 years MLB expierence.

If not, pick a 80's guy and go to town on the undervalued/over produced stuff!

Someone could put together a stellar Mattingly collection these days for a decent coin!

EDIT: Just saw the 2000 - present line... ::facepalm::

Thats kinda what I'm saying, if your not concerned with a return on your investment then go after an already established star. If your looking to potentially make some money, gamble on a unproven up and comer.

I know your looking for 2000 - present, but if I were a true Yankees fan on a somewhat limited budget, I'd dive in to Mattingly. You can put together an awesome collection for peanuts these days, and he has plenty of auto's, gu's, ect.. Also, if your looking for higher end stuff, he has that too! Plus, he is included in most of the hard to find 90's insert stuff. And, as far as future value, Yankees fans will always remember him and demand will always be there for him. So, getting your money back out should never be a problem.

Hey
I do like mattingly the only thing though is that he dosent have any non-auto/gu cards 2000-present

Also does he still have autos in sets?
I guess i never noticed
