Who would ever think the corporation would allow this?

Not that it's insulting or anything like that, just seems like something too outside the box for a mega chain.

Pretty cool, although needs updating, especially with all the roiders.

There's one just outside Columbia, TN, on I-65 that's buried in NASCAR paraphernalia.

There are a few McD's in RI/SE Mass that are loaded with sports memorabilia. One has a few auto'd Pats jerseys, another has a few signed Celtics basketballs.

Also, my local Wendys all have lots of hockey memorabilia; a few local guys made the pros, and the long-gone but beloved Rhode Island Reds hockey team still has fans all over the place.

I believe the franchised stores have the right to decorate any way they wish as long as they also have the promotional items as well.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the 1986 Burger King cards:

There were also a few Burger King sets in the late '70s and 1980 that mirrored the Topps design:

I think he's asking if they would, not if they should.

Since I've seen this thread about interiors and there is an abobe-style McDonalds restaurant here, I"m sure there is a little leeway in franchise agreements that allow a franchise owner to give their restaurant a special touch within reason, whether it be a look that is traditional to the area where the restaurant is (adobe-themed building) or to an owner or customers' likes (if the owner or customers in a sports town decide to decorate inside the restaurant with sports-related photos or memorabilia).

Used to be an NFL themed burger king in auburn California that was owned by HOFer Jim Otto. Stopped there all the time when I was a kid.

Taco bell in Fallon Nevada is decorated with navy aviator memorabilia as Fallon is home to Top Gun

That's what I thought since BBC is from New York. I have the 78 Yankee team set & I also have that complete Burger King Pitch, Hit and Run set that you are showing the Ryan from. I think I have an extra Ryan to boot!

There is a Burger King in Rockville Md that is sports-themed with some cards in showcases and a big column filled with baseballs. The display is pretty old though - at least 15 years old - and the cards are pretty faded. One that I can remember is a Dan Marino RC card that has been sun-damaged really bad. There's also a movie-themed Burger King in Northwest DC that has all kinds of movie posters and a replica batmobile that you can eat in.
