And why not add one I never heard before. This is an audio recording/interview of Dimaggio interviewing a rookie Mantle on his way from penn station to his first game.

Maine of course......
The 500 hr video was cool to see. Mantle seems to hobble around the bases with little fanfare. The short RF porch at the Stadium I suspect was a real help for him, though I know he was a switch hitter.

There was often discussion of the Sox trading Williams for Dimaggio as each would have had more HRs playing 1/2 their games in the "other" home stadium.

Recently uncovered super rare footage. The last three innings of Reds pitcher Jim Maloney's 10-inning no-hitter on Aug. 19, 1965 at Wrigley Field. Possibly the oldest color MLB footage available! Commercials included.

As a huge fan of the history of Wrigley Field and someone who grew up watching Brickhouse and listening to Boudreau....thank you for posting this video. That is so very cool and brings back some excellent memories. My parents started taking me to games at Wrigley just a few short years after this no hitter happened so it was nice to see the park the way I remember it.
