I didn't see any other threads for this and I don't know if anyone else cares or not, but Cuba and USA are playing live on the MLB Network right now (2pm game).

Update: Ike Davis with an RBI double. 1-0 USA.

Update #2: Trevor Reckling retired the first three in the first, but was removed during warmups before the second inning. Reports are that he might have re-aggravated an injury. Lucas Harrell is now pitching.

Injury Updat: Recling out with strained left lateral.

I didn't either (not that I would have known anyway). Sorry if that info is wrong. I'm just repeating what the announcers said. Hopefully it's not serious.

Edit: They just showed a replay of Reckling warming up and he throws a pitch and immediately winces. The announcers also said that Reckling and the trainers and talking and checking out his left side. Where on the left side? I don't know, but he is a lefty pitcher.

They are now saying that the injury to Travis Reckling is a strained left lateral. He overextended himself while warming up before the second inning.

Just happy to watch some good USA baseball. I will need to leave in an hour so I will miss the last half of the game.

Terry Tiffee hit a 2-run homerun to put USA up 3-0. USA is already in the championship game so they are playing just to win this game and keep Cuba from playing them for the championship. If Cuba wins, they play the United States for the Baseball World Cup Championship.

Pedro Alvarez scores on a single by Jason Castro. USA 4-0.

By the way Bowers should be in Philly. He has incredible numbers this year and Michael Taylor said he throws the filthiest pitches he's seen.
