Sheed's back, Davis' concussion, and KG having to guard Lewis mean that there will be no answer for Howard. Oh, wait, there's Scal...
So that takes care of Game 6.
Game 7 is in Orlando.
This series is over, thanks to some officiating that will rival the 02 Kings/Lakers Game 6.
Now I'm REALLY pissed that Pierce didn't even get a shot off before OT of Game 4. All of this could have been avoided.
I'm generally negative towards my teams because I've been let down too many times, but I'm with you. This series is over, and the Magic will win. The Celts took advantage of having three guys that could guard Howard and use fouls on him. Now Baby is out, Sheed isn't 100%, and Perk is potentially out. Because they didn't take care of business in game 4 they're going to continue having to play every other day and Rondo isn't going to have time to heal. The old three isn't going to have time to rest either.
The Celts didn't play well last night, but it's tough when every time you start to gain momentum the refs take it away. I think it was before the half when the Celts were starting to get a little momentum, and baby was diving/reaching out for a rebound. His hands were on the ball and Reddick ran into baby's side and bounced off. The foul was called on Baby and because the Celts were in the penalty Reddick got two free points. It killed anything the Celtics had going at that time. This happened throughout the game. Now allowing the Magic shooters to get open and hit so many threes is entirely on the Celtics.
As soon as this play happened, I thought the momentum was dead. You're spot-on there.
And when I stopped watching, the Magic were 11-18 from 3. That's insane, and you don't beat a team that's shooting that well (and you aren't rushing them like you did for the first three games).
