You're kidding about the Celts, right? This team isn't making it past the first round.

I actually agree with your first round. I'd say Cavs vs Mavs in finals, Thunder out in round two after the mammoth upset.

Oh we will get past the Heat, I have no doubt, but after that :? . The only thing I have in hopes of Boston pulling any upsets is the 1994-1995 Houston Rockets who were the 6th seed and went on to win the title. Obviously that was a different time but with what they did there is always a chance. As a fan its not over till it over but I can agree it does not look very good.

I think they have the talent to beat the heat, but not the heart. I think Perk is sick of Sheed and KG talking the talk but unable to walk the walk. Pierce and Allen are too streaky, especially Allen in the playoffs. The only play on the team that I'm confident in is Rondo.

i, too, think the celtics will lose early but i kind of get the feeling that if they snuck in a few early wins they could get on a roll. there has been a "saving our legs for the playoffs" thing going on for awhile.

The Celtics will be lucky to get out of the first round. They've been a .500 team in 2010. Ray Allen has been wildly inconsistent, KG is (sadly) a shadow of his former self, Perkins has yet to see a call he likes, even though he has horrible footwork, Sheed is a joke and the rest of the bench is unreliable (Nate Rob, Tony Allen) or is only good on one side of the court (Marquis Daniels, Brian Scalabrine). I don't think Pierce can carry a team the way he used to. Their only chance is if Rondo puts up 25-10-15 for the series. Possible, but not likely.

As for Perk and Sheed I dint have any idea they had any rift I know that he is in Doc's Dog house and I am just hoping that now that we are in Playoffs that Sheed will just wake up and do what he is told to help us out. Like you said its that heart thing and and I doubt he gets it in the playoffs but you never know. As for the Bolded above, that just kills me :( I thought after they won the title 2 years ago that KG had about 4 years left of being KG before I started to see a decline. I know that when he came to Boston he dint have the same numbers as he had with the Timberwolves but that was because he sacaficed and dint damand the Ball to score more but he was still able to jump so that he could deflects shots and get rebounds he was still able to move and gaurd all 5 positions and jump out to 3 point shooters and disrupt their flow, and was awsome at getting back on pick in roll situations and now he cannot even gaurd Centers hardly ::facepalm::. It just kills me to the point that if by next year he still has not regained anything that he should just hang em up as I honestly do not want to see him play like this. It just not the KG I know.
The reality is KG is more than likley done and will not get back his mobility or Jumping but as a huge fan I always have that little piece of me saying he just might. The reality of Boston is they will not get back past the Second round but as a fan I have that little piece saying OK they will get it together and just shock everyone. Its playoff time and no matter what they have to show up or go home.
Its going to be an interesting playoffs to say the least and no matter what I will have fun watching all the match ups.

I'll be at game 3 of Magic-Cats. Should be a good series, I hope the Cats can pull off the upset.

The Celtics will get beat in the first round.

Wouldn't surprise me all that much if the Thunder pulled off the huge upset. I think KD will have a huge series.

Also, FEAR THE DEER!!!

It's (deer) huntin' season, boys! I think it is still atleast Turkey season...I've never hunted myself so I don't keep track of the dates.
Regardless, Hawks > Bucks.
