I was completely out on this team during the season. It wasn't that they were losing, but the fact that they had no heart. KG was injured, Pierce looked flat, Ray wasn't himself, Sheed looked like a corpse, etc...

Before the playoffs I thought this team wasn't even going to be Miami, but they showed some flashes of what they could be.

They took another huge step this series. They stepped up to play against the team with the best record in the league. KG looks healthy, Pierce struggled but I'll give him a pass since he was up against Lebron, Ray has been back since the trade deadline passed, Sheed has hit some big shots and actually gone after some rebounds. Tony Allen and Glen Davis have added big minutes and energy off the bench. And of course, Rajon Rondo (my man crush) has been absolutely off the charts and was the best player in this series. I'm fully invested in this team again, and don't care if they get swept by Orlando. The heart they showed in this series was impressive.

Even if we lose we wont get swept.

I also had the same feeling through the regular season and I honestly did not know if Kg was going to get any better and I knew that if he was still limping when the playoffs started we would be in trouble. I watched them all season long during the good and bad and man some nights were just rough. What I have seen the last 2 series is a team (Like you said) with heart and we are really going to need it in the Orlando series. Its great to be a Celtic fan today :D

Go Celtics!!!!

Damn I'm glad the Celts won, now everyone can shut the F up about Lebron. Sick of hearing about how he's the best player in the NBA. Yeah he's the best, best player out of the playoffs and to have never won a title.

Ha, it's cool, I was messing with Miggy... :D

Good luck against the Magic, Laker fans want redemption for 2008 (and home court in the finals), so I'm hoping for a Boston victory in that series.

Congratulations to the Celtics, they outplayed the Cavs and deserved to win...If Lebron leaves,i wouldn't blame him for it.I would like Mike Brown to get his walking papers.

Phil Jackson is in last year of his contract isn't he?Would he come here to coach Lebron?

The atmosphere in the building was insane. After that late KG dunk, I'm not sure I've heard a building that loud besides a Tool concert.

And LeBron certainly didn't quit last night; he really did try to assert himself. Tony Allen just made him work for every inch - I've given TA a ton of crap this year (I still don't like him as a backup PG and miss Eddie House), but defensively, he's the man right now.

Slow day at work today so I just finished making a Rondo wallpaper for my android phone. It looks much crisper on the smaller screen.

Here's a question:

Suns completed round 2 on Sunday May 9th
Lakers completed round 2 on Monday May 10th
Magic completed round 2 on Monday May 10th
Celtics completed round 2 on Thursday May 13th

Wouldn't it make sense to have the Lakers/Suns game on Sunday and give the Celtics the extra days rest so that series is more equal with rest time? Instead the Celtics go on Sunday and they make the Western Conference Championship wait another day when they've already had a week.

Whewwwwww!! We held them off for the win :) . I just knew we could take this game 1. Orlando will play better in game 2 as they now realize what they are up against.

Yea, the scheduling is dumb but I guess the Celts could have taken care of business on their end sooner and had nothing to worry about. Either way, it worked out find in game one. If we can take game two I think the Magic will roll over. That team just doesnt seem mentally tough to me.

Thanks for the compliment on the wallpaper. I was having fun in photoshop so I made a Red Sox one too.
