I'll be interested to see if the officiating changes at all once they go back to Boston. I'm not saying they're calling it for one team or the other, and both teams have had bad calls go against them, but I haven't been a fan of how tight they've been calling these games. I'd like to actually watch the best players play the game instead of having Kobe, Odom, Artest, Bynum, Ray, Garnett, and Perkins in foul trouble the entire series.

I don't think it's on purpose, but calling the games so tight does favor the Lakers.

Wow, can the officials please let them play? Did anyone else see that ********* call where Rondo "fouled" Kobe on the jumpshot? He didnt even touch him. Oh, and not to mention Gasol slipping and falling and calling a foul just on Rondo just because he was near him. Freaking ridiculous. The officials caleld 30 fouls EACH on the teams last night, that is just terrible.

The Celtics have NO legs tonight. LA seems to have recovered a little more quickly.

Are Laker fans still going to complain about the refs tonight? What are the free throws, 12-4 in favor of LA?

Best of 5 series now with 3 being in Boston. The greatest franchise in NBA history will be bringing home another ring to Boston. Gasol can put on whatever front he wants to. He's soft at hart. Gifted big man but soft. As usual when it counts Odom is nowhere to be found. Such a waste of a gifted skill set. The Ryan Leaf of the NBA.

your kidding right....ryan leaf was TERRIBLE, odom has had a good career and has came up big in a lot of moments, especially since he is a bench player.

No, I'm 100% serious. I'm not sure how old you are but he was supposed to be the second coming of Magic coming out of Rhode Island with his performance in the tourney. 6'9" athlete with ability to run the point. I can't think of any player who has wasted God given ability and talent more than Odom. With his skill set he should be a HOF, not a "decent career" guy. Also he's a choker. When the game's on the line he's nowhere to be found.

lol i am old enough to remember the draft....and you must have been listening to some absolute morons if you heard or thought he was suppose to be the second coming of magic johnson because that may be the dumbest comparrison i have ever heard, hes a great role player and doesnt need to show up at the end of games....if they dont win its because pau, kobe, bynum and so on dont show up....players that are classified in the ryan leaf category include kwame brown, candy man and a ton others...odom is not in that category sorry, and to call the series over is quite funny...just like it was funny that people were calling the series over when the lakers won the frist game

Your post makes no sense. I'm talking about when he was drafted. All the hype surrounding him was he was the next Magic with the same skill set. You don't get drafted No. 4 overall if your only expectations are a role player. He's a role player now which is a huge waste of his skill set. He was never supposed to be a role palyer but that's all he's been his whole career. He never once has been a go to guy. IMO he's worse than the busts you mentioned because he actually had the talent and ability to live up to the hype that was there he just didn't have it up stairs. Those other guys were just not good. They just didn't have the ability to perform.

This game is INSANE. I love that the Lakers and Celtics are battling it out again. Brings back so many memories of my favorite player ever. Larry Bird.

Man We really needed this game :| . Well You live with the good Ray Allen and the bad. I will take him. D-Fish was very strong in the second half. On to game 4.

Go Celtics!

lol my post makes no sense? really...go through the drafts and look at how many have turned out to be stars, and as i said before the people that told you or proclaimed him to be a superstar were idiots and most likely the same individuals who thought kwame was going to be awesome

now on to my comments about the game, surprised lakers won this with none of there players really putting up huge games, but that will happen when pierce, allen and rondo dont show up.....and hey paul, looks like its going back to LA

Just got home, glad to see the Lakers pull it out. Gotta be honest I thought for sure Boston would roll since it was their first home game of the finals but glad they lost :D

And at no time was Odom ever compared to Magic, two totally different playing styles/roles. Odom was compared to Pippen a lot when he was due to be drafted but never Magic, you're wrong.

That game made me sick. A bunch of random thoughts:

I really don't understand Doc Rivers. Kevin Garnett hasn't played all series, so he should be well rested. But still, after coming on strong the the first he takes him out to sit a good portion of the first and most of the 2nd. Ray Allen came up huge last game and was atrocious this game. Paul Pierce has yet to play well this series. I'm sick of the broadcast crew showing replays of kobe celebrating when his teammates doing something good. I'm sick of the refs calling such a tight game. Let the players decide the game, not all these loose ball fouls on guys playing hard to get position. Maybe it's an outlier, but the review system in this game was ridiculous and only proved that NBA referees can not make a good call on their own. The Celtics shoot themselves in the foot when they have Ray Allen or Paul Pierce become the point guard in the half court offense. Strasburg is really really good.
