Baylor finds itself in the same seat that SMU and TCU were in 16 years ago. TCU always thought they belonged in the Big 12 if Baylor was invited due to class enrollment. Its funny that more Texas Longhorn fans own season tickets to Baylor games then Baylor alumni. Baylor says that all 4 Texas teams should stay together. Despite all the gassy outrage and hot air from Baylor supporters, they will not be invited to join the PAC 10. It makes no sense for the PAC 10 bring in the tiny Waco TV market when they can have the much larger Denver market with Colorado. Texas legislators know this and will not allow Baylor people to sabotage a great deal for A&M and Texas because of hurt feelings in Waco. Other conferences do not want them due to religion and politic reasons.

Maybe the SEC can get rid of Vandy and both can go join Conference USA.

Baylor did not get in to the Big 12 because of enrollment. They got in because our former bitch of a governor, Ann Richards, strong armed the conference using her political clout to force them to accept Baylor if they wanted Texas and A&M.

Luckily, she's no longer in office. Even better, she's now dead, so she won't be able to stick her wrinkled pig nose in affairs that do not involve her

Must suck to realize you are basically expendable.

As the above poster pointed out - it seemed like them moving to the Big 12 was essentially like the little kid latching on to their older brother and after a lot of whining the mom forcing them to let him tag along.
