I put on a show this weekend and it went great but near the end, I was tending to final cleanup as dealers were packing up. A few customers were still roaming around but some of the guys with long drives ahead needed to pack up so I had to make sure the back bay doors were opened, etc. Anyway, this left my table relatively unattended despite the fact that other dealers were watching nearby. At this point in time, someone reached over my showcase under a small stack of commons and into a stack of graded stuff.

The person stole a BGS 10/10 Zack Cox Bowman Chrome Blue Refractor Auto. The BGS serial number on the card is 6685991 and I believe the on-card serial number is 039/150.

Please keep an eye out for this card as I believe it will show up online or at a show. At this point in time, there are 3 on the pop report and I still have the other 2 so as long as I am not selling them, it is the only one that could be available for sale.

Here is an example of what the card looks like...

wow man that blows. good luck tracking it down!

Thanks, I hope it makes its way on eBay. With so many serial numbers on the card, it will be easily identifiable and I immediately filed a police report for verification and evidence.

Man does that suck. And when it does pop up, you know you'll hear the ..."I bought it off of this guy at a show..." excuse. Gonna be hard to prove, but hopefully you'll get this one back.

Good luck!

If that is the case then he is receiving stolen property and can still get nailed. I hope it truns up. I would be pissed if some dude with sticky fingers grabbed my Cox.

I truly understand the whole Recieving Stolen Property thing but I really doubt they would nail the person for that. The reason I say that is because if the person truly bought it at a show from someone there is no way to track it to see if it has been stolen.

So the worst that will come from this if it does appear and the guy uses that excuse will be that it is returned to the original owner. The guy who SUPPOSEDLY bought it will be out the money.

But I could be totally wrong. I could care less either. Just seeing a happy ending and getting back to the orignal owner is all I would care about

I'd take this post down, lest the theif comes across the thread (off chance). Might lead to them cracking the slab and selling raw, then it'd be very hard to track and find. Just my two cents...

He probably wouldn't get "nailed," but the card would be seized as evidence
